Martha Beatriz Perez, 80, of Lauderhill Florida, passed away peace-fully on August 26, 2019, surrounded by immediate family. She has been declining in health for the past few years and her struggle is now over.
Martha was born in Argentina on August 6, 1939. She was married to Norberto J. Perez on March 29,1958 for 61 years. They moved to the United States in 1964 in search for the American dream. They resided in North Plainfield New Jersey creating a network of friends we still call fam-ily today. Moved to Florida in 1971 were they lived in Tamarac for 26 years before settling to Lauderhill in 1999.
Martha worked for Boroughs Corporation in Coral Springs for many years, later working in hair salons after she retired. Some of her proudest moments were being a mother, becoming a grandmother in 1994, and a naturalized citizen in 1995. She was a simple women who enjoyed family gatherings, cooking, and late night talks with her best friends. She will be remembered for her kindness and beautiful green eyes. She leaves many great memories in our hearts and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Martha is survived by her spouse Norberto J. Perez, children Daniel N. Perez, Susana B. Perez-Chapman, son-in-law Gary A. Chapman, and
her granddaughter Alejandra C. Perez-Chapman. She is preceded in death by her daughter Cristina Martha Perez.
Her final resting place will be at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Ceme-tery Mausoleum on Friday, September 20th, 2019 at 2:00pm, 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, where she will be laid to rest near to her beloved daughter.
