Jerome “Jerry” Oracki passed away at his home in Tamarac, FL on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the age of 64. Jerry was born in Chicago, IL on August 30, 1952, the youngest of two children. He relocated to Central Florida in 1985. He attended the University of Central Florida where he received both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree. Jerry made several lifelong friendships during his employment as an Accountant and Bartender. He also remained a dedicated Chicago fan, and was rewarded for his loyalty when his Cubbies took home the World Series win last season. He loved watching Monk marathons, Reese’s cups, and spending time with his family and friends. Most importantly, he was a loving dad, an attentive grandfather and a giving friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Jerome Oracki and Estelle (Staszewicz) Oracki.
He is survived by his three daughters, Kristin Wickey, Jennifer Creighton, and Kimberly Jaffe; his son in laws: Sean Wickey, Rich Creighton and Mike Jaffe; his eight grandchildren, Jackson, Reagan, Kennedy, Truman and Lincoln Wickey, Grayson and Aria Jaffe, and Harrison Creighton; his sister Carol Greenstadt; his brother-in-law Marvin Greenstadt; and his niece Lisa Simmons.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 11th at 12:30pm, with an Inurnment immediately following at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay, FL.
