Born on September 25, 1967 in Westmoreland, Jamaica, Michelle “Judy” Samuels (Roxborough) was the youngest of seven children born to the late Ninetta Roxborough and late Percival Roxborough.
As a young girl, Michelle went to Bluefields All Age Grade School where her mother was a teacher. She then moved onto Manning’s High School where she attended from 1980-1985. After graduating high school, she went to live in Ocho Rios with her sisters Marcia and Maxine and attended Fitz Henley where she studied computer programming and worked for the Jamaica Tourist Board.
From Jamaica she migrated to New Jersey with Pedro DeJesus and had one daughter, Catherine DeJesus. Michelle then moved to Florida where she had close ties with her brother, Robert Roxborough, also known as Paul. For many years, Michelle worked as a Home Health Aide to provide assistance and one of a kind professional care to the elderly. Michelle was a Warrior of God and also spent her time witnessing to anyone in need of some prayer and encouraging words. She was a kind, nurturing, and respectful. She was a devoted mother and caregiver who earned the respect and love of all who came to know her.
Michelle has left to mourn her only daughter, Catherine DeJesus; five brothers: Robert, Peter, Dave, Cleveland, and Tanny Roxborough; four sisters: Clover Adlam, Lavern Roxborough, Marcia Roxborough, and Maxine Lindo; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.
This sweet angel and wonderful woman of God is now at peace and resting safely in His arms.
