On Saturday, April 22, 2017, Arthur departed from this world. Born on June 7, 1934 in the Parrish of Portland in the District of Bangoridge, Jamaica, Arthur was the first child to bless the union of Clifford McFarlane and Lydia McFarlane; both parents have proceeded Arthur in death.
After leaving Jamaica, Arthur landed in Bronx, New York where he was employed by Garage Incorporation in Park Avenue, New York, where he later retired. After moving from New York, Arthur found a new home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he worked for the Broward County School System for 26 years where he retired again.
Later in his life, Arthur moved to Port St. Lucie were he later married Malvene Campbell.
Arthur is proceeded in death by his brothers Arnold McFarlane, Lindbord McFarlane, Kenneth McFarlane, and Carlton McFarlane.
He is survived by his wife Malvene McFarlane (Port St. Lucie); his two sons, Michael McFarlane (London, England) and Cleon McFarlane (Tallahassee, Florida) his daughter-in-law, Shawanna McFarlane,(Tallahassee, Florida) his grandchildren, Taylor, Kim, and Craig. Brothers: Audley McFarlane (Shirley), and Douglas McFarlane. Sisters: Millicent Fagan (Barrington), Blossom Brown, Loma McFarlane and a host of nieces and nephews and faithful friends.
